Thursday the 19^th of November, the rewarding ceremony of the first round of New Venture was being held at Club Panama in Amsterdam. Out of the 370 entries, 24 were selected as nominees for the 10 winners of the first round. Beatriz Fernandez, one of the participant of the Pre-incubation program was one of the 10 winners!

Beatriz is developing a water purification device that uses UV-light and is powered by solar energy aiming for markets in developing countries. During the rewarding ceremony, Danny Mekic, the founder of Domeinbalie.nl and according to Sprout, the most promising young entrepreneur of 2009, commented that the most of the winners used UV-light in their products. Beatriz was one of the 10 winners who left club Panama with a 500 euro cheque. Enviu and Dnamo are very proud that Beatriz is the first entrepreneur powered by Dnamo who wins a price in a business plan competition.
